3 - To exist or to live

To Exist or to Live

To Exist.

Simply being alive, fulfilling basic functions, and surviving, without concern for anything higher. Existence is limited to food, material and intellectual enjoyment, and the reproduction of the species. It is a carnal, ephemeral, materialistic, and superficial existence. Noah also ate and drank and married, but unlike the others, he had life because he had communion with God.

He built the ark; the door remained open until God himself closed it, and all who existed perished. The end of existence is death. Don't settle for merely existing; begin to live the full and abundant life that Christ gives you.

To Live

Living is related to the spirit of man.

Breath comes from the Latin word Spiritus, and this spirit that comes from within God enters through the nostrils of the man of clay and activates life in a lifeless being, for God is life itself. The life of man cannot be separated from the life of God, because He gives life and sustains it within you.

To live according to God's purpose for our lives, through deep communion with God, is to reflect the glory of God on earth through Jesus Christ.
