2 - GOD'S TIME
God's Time
Since ancient times, we have measured time, relating it to the rising and setting of the sun. Minutes, days, months, years, centuries. According to physics, time is a property that results from the existence of matter. As such, time exists when matter exists, and matter is God's creation. There was a time when there was no universe, no sun, no time; there was only God.
Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I am.” John 8:56-58
Jesus didn't say that he existed before Abraham; he said, “I am,” in the present tense, the eternal present. We can say that God lives eternity in the present, that all events are in the present.
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
